NY Beverage is a Green Company
In 2008 we installed 72 photovoltaic solar panels onto the roof of our Bronx warehouse and received final approval from Con Edison in February 2009 to go active, thus becoming the first wholesale beer distributor in New York State to go solar. In 2017 we installed 130 L.E.D. bulbs throughout our warehouse so we could be even more energy-efficient.
Each year New York Beverage recycles approximately 1000 beer kegs and hundreds of thousands of plastic bottles, cans, and glass bottles. In addition, we recycle thousands of plastic and wood pallets. We also offer a recycling program for our customers that wish to participate in a pickup program when we are making deliveries to their home or office.
These are just some of the areas in which we are doing our part in KEEPING GREEN.
